Welcome to BostonFit! We are a group of training partners and friends preparing together for a marathon or half marathon. Even if you’ve never run a step before, training with our group will help you conquer mental and physical barriers to get you to your finish line. It happens all the time.

Our final BostonFit meeting of the 2017 season will be this Saturday, October 21st. We will meet at 7:00AM at Thorndike Field, our home away from home. No seminar. Thank you for letting BotonFit be part of this endurance journey with you.  


Our goal race weekend is November 5th, 2017 with many races to choose from. It is easy to tweak our schedule if you are planning on running an event on a different weekend, such as Chicago (October 8), Marine Corps (October 22), Baystate (October 22), Cape Cod (October 28th), Philadelphia (November 19) or the many other half and full marathons offered in the fall.

We start wherever you are. Couch potato? Seasoned marathoner? Great. No matter what your conditioning or pace, there will be others to train with. Over the course of 24 (+/-) weeks, our coaches will help you achieve your personal best in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment.

As a member of BostonFit, you’ll receive:

  • ability-based Saturday morning group runs;
  • daily training schedules to keep you progressing during the week;
  • encouragement and expertise from trained coaches;
  • weekly informational seminars on running topics;
  • camaraderie and social events; and
  • a BostonFit technical T-shirt.

24 weeks isn’t that long a time when you’re among friends all working toward a common goal. But the even greater benefit is what happens when you conquer your own personal challenges. Our members are fitter, happier, and mentally stronger than they’ve ever been before. This training changes peoples lives forever.
