Sarah Tannenbaum

Assistant Coach - Yellow Group

Sarah started running as part of her recovery from knee surgery in 2013. She did the Couch to 5k app and then never stopped running. After speaking to a friend who had run two marathons with BostonFit, Sarah decided to join the team in the summer of 2016. Even though she’d never run a distance race, Sarah set herself the crazy goal of training for a marathon. She thought, I’ll check running a marathon off my bucket list and then retire from running. So Sarah joined BostonFit and ran with the yellow team. Little did she know the addictive nature of marathon running! Now she’s run 3 marathons and is looking forward towards her first summer of coaching. Sarah knows firsthand how empowering training with the BostonFit group is, and she looks forward to sharing her love of running with new and veteran BostonFit runners!
